What should students do to be safe when using email on the internet?
1. Don't give out any personal information such as; Telephone Number, Address, or Parents' Work Phone Address/Phone Number.
2. Tell your parents right away if you come across something that makes you scared or worried.
3. Get your parents approval before posting any pictures of yourself or anyone.
4. I will never agree to get together with someone I meet online without checking with my parents first.
5. I will not respond to any messages that are mean or disrespectful. You should show your parents every time someone does.
6. I will sit down with my parents and set up the rules for the time and length I can be online.
7. I will not give ANY of my passwords to anyone but my parents.
8. I will check with my parents before downloading or installing anything.
9. I will be a good online citizen and not say anything mean, disrespectful, or against the law.
10. I will help and share thing online with my parents so we all can learn!
